Wanda Louann Triplett, 77, of South Point, OH passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Wanda was born April 28, 1939 in Benton County, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Earl Edward and Jennie Irene Elliot Burch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Clark; and a brother, Lloyd Burch. She was a graduate of South Point High School, retired from Ashland Oil after 18 years and a member of South Fork Regular Baptist Church in Worthington, KY. Wanda is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Triplett; a daughter, Sharon (Steve) Dolin of South Point, OH; a son, William J. (Laura) Triplett of Coal Grove, OH; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Robbie Burch of Arkansas. Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, February 17, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Elder Willis Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
